Indian film industry might be alleged of copying from other language movies but the movie has to be tasteful too in order to make it look graceful in the big screen. Something like that happened with one of the recent movies’ named HEROES. It is said to be have copied from one oldie Motorcycle Diaries but onscreen this movie looked really great and could have inspired lot of Indian youth with the ending line” You don’t have to be a soldier to love your country”.

The story of the movie is based on the lives of Vatshal Seth and Sohail Khan who are actually students of film academy। Due to their short attendance they were asked to submit an assignment movie. So they decide an arbit topic and meet a reporter who used to deal with army life once. He gave them three letters of three Indian soldiers which was their last letters but not posted to the address. They started their journey for posting their letters.

First they went to Harbalkar Singh’s(played by Salman) home where they found how the whole community is proud of the dead army। Then they land on the Himachal in the home Dhananjay Shergill (played by Bobby Deol) whose elder brother (played by Sunny) who was incompatible to walk on his own showed how he and his whole family loved India and feel pride for this country.


At last they went to Leh, in the home of Sahil Naqvi(played by Dino Morea) whose father was very much angry on his son and started to behave like an inhuman in his personal life. After all the experience they recorded, and they finished the movie. But they decided not to go to US what they desired all their life, instead they opened one school what they could have done at best.

The music of the movie is more than average. Some of the songs are of very much suitable to the genre of the movie. The music in this movie has been given by Monty and Sajid-Wajid. And the lyrics are of Jalees and Rahul.

A simple copied movie from English block buster is the movie “Aan-Men at work”. This movie was released in 2004. Although it was copied, the original concept would have been the same having seen the situation of Bombay. This movie is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and is produced by firoz Nadiadwala.

The script is totally based on the under-world and minister level relation that prevailed in Mumbai. DCP Hari Om Patnaik is an honest police inspector who has been put in the duty of special branch with a bunch of semi-corrupted policemen named cont. Khaled(Paresh Rawal), shooter Appa kadam Naik(Sunil Shetty) and senior inspector Vikram(Shatrughan Sinha).

Regarding the murder of a famous businessman, they all get indulged and suddenly they all found something to bring down the corrupt government. Commisioner Khurana(Om puri) gave them the support and they were like hound to search all the illegal business in Mumbai. All these made Gautam Walia(Jackie Shroff) under a lot of stress. His stress increased with the detaching of Yusuf Pathan(Irfan) by the police. Just before the climax, a trap took away the life of Appa which just fumed the flame inside Om Patnaik & Vikram. Finally, with the help of judge, they were able to pull out the victory in that case and stop illegal business in Mumbai.

The music is an adrenalin booster with lot of item songs. Music is composed by Anu Malik. A song sung by Sherya and Udit Narayan topped the charts.

A thriller of a movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay kumar, Arjun Rampal Paresh Rawal and Susmita Sen is the movie “Aankhen”. This movie was released in the year 2002. The movie is directed by Vipul Shah. This movie got a huge response due to the nature of thrill in the movie.
The plot of the movie was basically a bank robbery accomplished by three blind men. Vijay Rajput(Amitabh) was an offbeat officer in a bank but was fired from the job regarding his stern nature to any kind of inconvenience towards client. Then he decided to take the revenge from the bank by robbing the bank.

He blackjacked Neha(Susmita) to use his technique to make three blinds compatible of robbing the bank. Arjun Verma(Arjun Rampal) Vishwas Prajapati(Akshay) and Ilias(Paresh Rawal) was selected having seen their exceptional capabilities instead of being blind. Neha taught them whatever was necessary but fell in love with Arjun.

But she could not express as she had to die to give those three blinds a new life after the actual robbery. In the climax, those three blind men pull off a miracle to make the intensions of Rajput clear in front of police which cost them Neha’s life.
The music of the movie is of mixed genre. The music is composed by Jatin-Lalit and Adesh Shrivastav.

Life changes and hence changes the situations but what remains constant is the change. A movie that has won the feelings of lots of viewer is the wonderful life story of Aditya-Geet is “Jab We Met”. This movie is directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Shree Astha Vinayak Cine Vision Limited. This was released in 2007.
Aditya Kshyap(played by Shahid Kapoor) is a son of a great businessman who died because of his family problems. Aditya was facing the same problem as he became the owner of the company. His problems were stampede by the fact that his girl friend dumped him to marry someone else. He left his all and started an unknown journey.

There he met Geet(played by Kareena Kapoor) who is a kind of girl who knows what she was doing in life. She never cared what situation demands and did whatever she liked to. Some tragedy made the duo to come to her home in Bhatinda where Aditya felt like home. The marriage of Geet encouraged her to flew away from there(as she loved another guy named Anshuman) and took Aditya with her. All these made Geet’s family to believe that Aditya and Geet fled away together as they were in love.

After that Aditya left Geet’s life and went to his company to face the problems. He started living a new life, they way Geet drove him to live when they were together. On the contrary, Geet’s boy friend ditched her for his family and society and she was left alone. She started to live what was unlikely of her character. Meanwhile, her family came to know about the actuality of Aditya and landed on his home in search of Geet as she was missing for long nine months.

That made Aditya to go in search of Geet. He found her in Simla and took herself to home. Some hard conditions arouse before they married and understood that they were made for each other.
The music of the movie is truly superb. The lyrics were written by Irshad Kamil and music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty.

Ru Ba Ru Review and Download songs!

One of the low budget films of the year was the film Ru-Ba-Ru featuring Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami. This was released merely one month ago. May be this movie could not even get its height which was not even expected of it, but it serious taught the film viewers that never judge a movie by its budget. This was an out and out slow movie but the slowness of the movie actually fits perfectly. This is directed by Arjun Chandramohan Bali and was produced by Percept picture.

This film is about two love-birds Tara(played by Shahana) and Nikhil(played by Randeep) who meet in a party and started loving each other at first sight. They move on to Bankok as Nikhil wanted his business to grow. Both of them was staying together and were planning of getting married soon. But Nikhil’s business affairs came in between always. And the situation went this far that Nikhil started to forget some important dates of their life.

It stretched on to that far that Tara wanted to get rid of him even. And suddenly an accident took away Tara’s life and Nikhil realized how he loved her but could not express it to her. Suddenly he finds her in his arms and realized that was just a dream. But the things he saw appeared as déjà-vu to Nikhil and he understood that Tara was going to die. So he tried to make that day as happy as possible for her. And just before the accident happens, Nikhil gave Tara her “bestest day” in life.

The music is composed by Sameer Uddin. The title track Ru-ba-ru was sung by Vijay Prakash. The lyrics were written by Aditya Narayan(title), Arjun Chandramohan Bali and Akshay Verma.

Alag "He is different"!

The movie was released in the year 2006 with an exceptional tag line “He is different”.

This movie was basically a hindi version of American movie Powder. Though this movie did not get as much was expected of still, it had some seriously good music composition which gave the movie a totally different look. The movie was based on the life story of an extremely truthful and self-believing person named Tejas(played by Akshay Kapoor).

He was found in an abandoned room after his father died in a heart-attack. The police asked the nearest rehabilitation centre to take care of that boy. Purva Rana(played by Diya Mirza) came in to take care of that young man. By the course of the movie and to their journey to the rehabilitation centre, Purva came to know what he was all about and fell in love with him, though she never expressed.

The director of the rehab centre had some personal problem as his wife was in coma. So he soon got irritated by the super-human activities of Tejas which caused him a lot of problem in his initial stage in the rehabilitation. But with his electromagnetic powers he brought his wife in sense and therefore the director was flooded with a feeling of gratitude for him.

Meanwhile some ill-forces tried to utilize his power for evil affect and like a proper Hindi movie a clash happened which obviously was won by the hero but the causality took in the form of Purva Rana. The music of the movie was composed was Adarsh Shrivastav. Background singers were mainly Kunal Ganjawala and Shaan accompanied by Nihira Joshi and Gayetri. Some of the tracks were awesome.

The chemistry between Abhishek, Priyanka and John Trio remain lucid during the show. Priyanka looks fabulous and suits in her performance. John demands some support other than physique and Abhishek is simply impressive. Bobby Deol was looking like underplaying his character.

Other then this Boman Irani was very much suits to his gay act and Kirron kher was looking like repeating his role of Om Shanti Om. It was only gay ways things which make this different from all other comedy movies.

The best gay gang is kirron kher's attitude towards her son's (Abhishek) gay relationship with his partner. The song 'Maa-Da-Laadla' originated from this is just hilarious.

Rock On:~ charged up the floor

A new way of thinking has emerged through the hands of Abhishek Kapoor. This director along with the script writer Javed Akhtar has created something that looks to be original in today’s film industry. Even this can allure some of the Hollywood directors to think about the script and start making some movies based on this story. The overall casting has been too good. Farhan Akhtar plays the lead in the story apparently from the other three. All of the four friends have done a great job in the movie. Other three are heart throb Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny. They form the great rock band called Magic from their perspective.

The story starts with a musical note featuring all four in the song “Asmaan hai neela”. They story goes on. It is somewhat designed like push-pop operation. It goes back to past and comes to present in a matter of time. After the formation of the band, they win a music competition in which Farhan Akhtar, Aditya Shreof I the movie sang the song “Pichle saat dino me” which has been among the top songs in recent times. After their win, they are told to do a album featuring all of them. Here the band broke due to more concentration on Aditya. Kedar Zaveri, more popularly known as KD(Killer drummer) goes back to his family business. Joe, the lead guitarist, stays to the same stage with her girlfriend Debbie played by Shana Goswami. Adi moves on in his life from a succesful rap singer of collage to an executive of multinational investment company. Later on he is married to Sakshi played by Prachi Desai. But Rob, played by Luke can’t change himself and remains in the same field. Some sudden and unexpected things opened up Adi in his later life thanks to his wife. From then on they start a new journey of music. And they go on to win the ultimate goal of their life of setting up a music school. And they happily lived ever after. But all these happened due to the cancer of Rob.

Music of this movie is incredible. Javed Akhtar rocks at this age also. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy created too good a music to make a justice of those lovely songs. Out of all the songs, “Yeh tumhari meri baaten” was the best one arguably with “Tum ho to”. This musical mist is sure to rock the lives of many people.
